Our story
Our founder, Benjamin Lipson, started at 17 as an amateur pilot and aircraft fueler, and worked his way up to the airlines.
He flew for SkyWest Airlines for more than four years. His zeal for general aviation led him to found Lipson Aviation, where he can help others meet their aviation goals.
Today the flight training center is a Cirrus Authorized Cirrus Training Center at Brackett Field in La Verne. We take a white glove, red carpet approach: brand new aircraft, air conditioning, and one-on-one instruction.
Our airplanes are arguably the safest on the market, and we teach to match. We provide a product that is a step above most other flight schools.

The parachute is standard.
Every Cirrus ever built carries CAPS, a parachute for the whole airplane. One handle, and the airplane comes down under canopy with everyone in it. That is the first thing a spouse asks about, and the first thing we answer.

Built around a working life.
Lessons are one-on-one and scheduled around your business, not ours. Flight operations run 7 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week.
